Fairfieldmirror.com is a forum for community discussion, and, thus, subsequent online user comments. Any decisions from here on out as to whether comments violates posting rules will be made by the management and staff of The Mirror and will be subject to removal.

In signing onto the Fairfieldmirror.com and posting a comment, you agree to the following terms:

Do not provide or post user comments or content that:

•    Violates copyrighted and other material owned by another organization, institution without the express permission of the rightful owner of the material in question.


•    Contains vulgar, profane, abusive, racist or hateful language or expressions, epithets or slurs, texts, photographs or images in poor taste, or personal attacks of a racial, religious or sexual nature directed toward the writer, editor, source or those individuals both directly and/or indirectly involved with a given issue.


•    Poses defamatory, threatening, inflammatory, false, misleading, exaggerated or unfounded claims, which violate the privacy rights of a fellow online user or any other third party member.


•    Presents harmful or offensive to an individual or community.


•    Shows discriminatory language or epithets directed at – but not limited to – various religions, races, ethnicities, sexual orientation, mental, physical or emotional disability. Law prohibits such discrimination that relates to such matters.


•    Encourages the violation of University, local, state, national or international policies and laws.


•    Interferes with another Fairfieldmirror.com user’s use of the Web site, including attempts to use another individual’s registration information (i.e. user name, password) or the interruption of the site’s system.


•    Disrupts or hinders the security of the site as well as the quality and reputation of the material presented on the page.


•    Advertises goods, products or services both related and unrelated to the present material. Separate advertising space is available for this purpose.


•    Threats or constant communication or comments directed at or with an individual, institution or community. This includes the frequency of posted comments in which derogatory of offence comments are directed at a certain individual, and/or the repetition of unrelated threats or subjects.
