Publishing Policy

The Mirror welcomes the opinions and contributions of its readers:

1. Letters to the editor, announcements, or independent articles must be relevant and timely. Preferably, they should be submitted on disk, as an email attachment at
themirror@stagweb.fairfield.edu or through this website.

2. Letters must not be longer than 350 words.

3. Letters must be received by 6 p.m. on Sunday to guarantee publication the following Thursday.

4. By sending in a letter, you consent that it may be used in future print or online stories by The Mirror

5. Once received, all submissions become property of The Fairfield Mirror, Inc. Under no circumstances does The Mirror guarantee publication. The board’s decision is final.

6. The Mirror reserves the right to edit letters and articles for content, length and grammatical error. Letters should be free of obscenities and personal attacks, and should contain correct and factual information.
